After a shortened day at school Eli along with his cousins from NJ went ice skating which we all enjoyed together and was great exercise for Eli. We look forward to a relaxed long weekend before we need to check back into CHLA Sunday night IYH.

Eli was in school until it was time early afternoon to head to CHLA for his scheduled DR appointment. After going thru all the motions like weight, blood pressure, and lab works they finally called Eli to see the DR. Bli ayin hora there was only good news starting with the results of the bone marrow results which BH were all negative. That was followed by a surprise that I was wrong and Eli was not in need of a blood transfusion.

The rest of the week is beezrat hashem is quiet and there are no more appointments until the next scheduled hospitalization scheduled for either late Sunday night or early Monday morning and Eli will be in from then until Friday with a short break until Sunday night followed by another hospitalization until Friday.

As always please continue to daven for Elimelech Ben Basya bsoch shaar choley yisroel that the news should only and always continue to be positive.

11/25/13

Another very good day bli ayin hora and we hope all will continue this way. Although Eli didn’t last a full day at school partially he’s taking advantage and partially he is weak but he is as always very happy.

Tomorrow Tuesday Eli has a DR appt at which time we should receive the results of the bone marrow procedure as well as hopefully Eli will get a much needed blood transfusion. His color isn’t the way it should be and he is weak which generally is all fixed with a blood transfusion.

Please continue as always having Elimelech Ben Basya in all your tefilos.

11/24/13

Another bli ayin hora very good day for Eli. He didn’t go to school because we had a lot planned for today. This morning all the kids went to a Chai Lifeline event which they really enjoyed painting, coloring, making bracelets and hats. Then this afternoon thanks to JDUB all the kids went to the Clippers game. By the time the afternoon was over everyone was happy yet very tired.
IYH Elimelech Ben Basya will be in school for a full day on Monday.

11/23/13

Eli had a very nice and relaxed Shabos and we look forward to that continuing all this coming week. Aside from a scheduled DR appointment on Monday and possibly a blood transfusion there is nothing else on the schedule.

Please keep Elimelech Ben Basya in mind in all your tefilos. A GUT VOCH

11/21/13

Overall Eli had a good day today even though he didn’t last the full day in school as he is still recovering from the soreness that the bone marrow procedure left him with. Beezrat hashem he will wake up in the morning pain and sore free.

BH Elimelech Ben Basya as always is smiling and happy. Please keep him in mind in all your tefilos.

11/20/13

The day started very early today and we were in CHLA before 6:30. The procedure started at 7:45 and took a few long minutes and shortly after that Eli was discharged and was home by 9:15AM. He spent the rest of the day at home trying to get back to himself but remains tired and slightly sore.

BH we are done this round of scans and hope to continue having the same results always. There is nothing else on the schedule for now other then a DR appt on Monday and then round 5 of immunotherapy scheduled to start in about 10 days.
